AI can support. It should not lead.
In Inkthar, AI is for research, finding context in your book, and organizing references—not generating prose. Because any answer can be wrong or biased, it helps you investigate and verify; it never makes writing decisions for you.
Bias and verification
Every answer can carry errors, gaps, and bias. Treat it as a hypothesis to verify, not truth or creative direction.
Your setup
The default is to configure nothing. If you use AI, the account, key, model, cost, and policy belong to the provider you chose.
No automatic prose
There is no feature for generating chapters, imitating voice, rewriting style, or creating covers.
