By purchasing or using Inkthar, you agree to the terms described in this document. Please read carefully before proceeding.
1. The Product
Inkthar is a desktop app for creative writing support, developed and distributed by Wilson Rocha Lacerda JR LTDA ("Company", "we"). The app runs locally on your machine and does not depend on external servers for day-to-day use.
2. License Grant
When acquiring Inkthar, the Company grants you a personal, non-transferable, lifetime license to install and use the software under the terms below:
• The license is valid for one individual user.
• You may install and use Inkthar on up to 2 (two) machines simultaneously.
• Updates released for the purchased version are included at no additional cost.
3. Restrictions
The following are strictly prohibited:
• Copying, redistributing, or reselling the app or activation key.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying the software.
• Sharing activation keys with third parties.
• Using the app for illegal purposes.
4. Intellectual Property
All code, design, brand, logo, and the name "Inkthar" are exclusively owned by the Company. No rights beyond the license above are transferred.
5. Activation and Verification
Activation requires an internet connection once. After activation, the app works offline. License checks happen automatically every 7 days when connected, with a 14-day offline grace period.
If a refund is approved, the license is remotely revoked and the app will stop working after the next verification cycle.
6. Availability and Updates
The Company strives to keep the app functional and secure, but does not guarantee uninterrupted activation services. We may release fixes and feature updates without prior notice and are not obligated to keep legacy versions running.
7. Limitation of Liability
Inkthar is provided "as is". The Company is not liable for:
• Data loss caused by hardware failure or user error.
• Incompatibility with unsupported operating systems.
• Indirect damages, lost profits, or losses resulting from use or inability to use the app.
Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the license.

9. Privacy
Personal data handling is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms periodically. The update date will always be visible at the top of this page. Continued use implies acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law and Venue
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The courts of the Company domicile are elected to settle disputes.
