Templates and models
Inkthar offers two reusable starting points: structure models for new books and templates for entities with preconfigured fields.
Book structure models
When creating a new project, you can start from scratch or choose a model with suggested acts and chapters.
Choose during book creation: the new-book form lets you select a narrative model before the project starts.
Quick preview: before confirming, the app shows description, act count, and chapter count for the selected model.
Optional use: the model is not required. You can clear the selection and continue with a manual structure.
Entity templates
For characters, places, items, and other entity types, templates help standardize records and speed up data entry.
Built-in templates: when creating an entity, you can start from scratch or use cards with suggested fields by type.
Your own templates: the template manager lets you create, edit, duplicate, and delete custom models for your workflow.
Reusable fields: each template can define labels, hints, default values, and an initial summary to keep records consistent.
